Ashes 2019: England named unchanged 13-man squad for final Test at The Oval


England have named an squad for the final Ashes Test at The Oval.
Joe Root’s side dropped to 185-run defeat at Old Trafford since Australia retained the urn and mind tracking the series 2-1.
England can draw the series and with Evaluation Championship points available, Root called on his side to flip for the final Test of the series in London.
Despite the hosts’ batsmen having struggled throughout the series with Joe Denly having impressed after his promotion to the peak of the sequence in Manchester that the top-order looks set to stay in position.
As the hosts fought to save Test, the 33-year-old made a 53 off 123 balls in the second innings of England and is among three batsmen to make more than one half-century from the collection.
Meanwhile, the Roy’s move down to No 4 brought him his highest score in Test cricket as he fought off 67 balls in the second innings at Old Trafford to 31.
